PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trouser type garment capable of giving a moderate fit, and of improving followability to movements of human body. SOLUTION: This trouser type garment includes eight pieces of cloth A-D sewn on each other. The sewn pieces of cloth A-D have sewn parts L1-L6. The sewn part L1 extends from an opening end part 3 to a bottom part 6 via a front side of each of knee parts 7, and the sewn part L2 extends from the opening end part 3 to the bottom part 6 via an outside of each of the knee parts 7. The sewn part L3 extends from the opening end part 3 to the bottom part 6 via each side of a hip part 5, and the sewn part L4 extends from a thigh part 4 to the bottom part 6 via inside of each of the knee parts 7. The sewn part L5 extends from the thigh part 4 to the rear side of the opening end part 3, and the sewn part L6 is formed on both the end parts on a virtual line L7 extending from the thigh part 4 to the front side of the opening end part 3.
