PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems wherein, although a composition obtained by adding a starch powder to a polylactic acid has been known as a biodegradable resin composition, the sheet made of the composition has poor flexibility, and is easily broken by receiving impact to make the use of the sheet difficult. SOLUTION: The biodegradable resin composition is obtained by adding a prescribed proportion of a polybutylene succinate to the polylactic acid and the starch powder, in particular by heating and kneading the mixture comprising 55-25 wt.% of a lactic acid-based resin, 5-20 wt.% of the polybutylene succinate and 40-70 wt.% of the starch powder.
