<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barrel for a writing utensil that achieves a superior gripping feel and improves the non-slip effect by facilitating deformation of a grip. <P>SOLUTION: A shaft body is provided with a grip 2, made of an elastic resin, on the outer periphery of a barrel 1. A plurality of through-holes 3 are formed in the barrel 1 while being spaced apart at appropriate intervals. The elastic resin is attached so as to cover the through-holes 3. The thickness of the barrel located between the through-holes 3 and the thickness of the elastic resin are changed with respect to the axial-center and/or the axial-circumferential direction so as to facilitate deformation of the grip. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
