SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 100 includes: a background acquisition unit 7a for acquiring a plurality of background images D1 to Dn, an object acquisition unit 7d for acquiring at least as many object clip images C1 to Cn obtained by consecutively imaging an object S as the background images D1 to Dn, and an image synthesis unit 7e for combining each of the plurality of object clip images C1 to Cn acquired by the object acquisition unit 7d and each of a plurality of background images D1 to Dn acquired by the background acquisition unit 7a to generate the composite video image M.
