PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier core material for electrophotographic developer, not deteriorating charge applying ability of carrier to toner even in a long time use, and a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: Slurry obtained by mixing and stirring iron compound powder, manganese compound powder and phosphorus compound powder as the raw materials in a solvent such as water is dried and granulated. After that, the obtained granule is burnt at 1,100-1,300°C, preferably at 1,100°C or higher and also at 1,200°C or less in an atmosphere of inert gas. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
