PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic cylinder moving a piston rod with a proper fluid used amount appropriate for use conditions. SOLUTION: In a cylinder body 12, a first selector valve 50 is disposed to a first communication passage connecting first supply/discharge holes 12a, 12b with a first cylinder chamber 13 and a second cylinder chamber 14, and a second selector valve 60 is disposed to a second communication passage connecting second supply/discharge holes 12c, 12d with the first cylinder chamber 13 and the second cylinder chamber 14.
