PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server-client system capable of saving power of a client apparatus by enhancing a cryptogram intensity only when there is the possibility that display data subjected to streaming transmission in real-time contains video content. SOLUTION: A server apparatus encrypts display data at a predetermined cryptogram intensity to transmit the encrypted display data to a client apparatus. The server apparatus has an application detector that detects an application program under execution, an encryptor that encrypts the display data at a predetermined cryptogram intensity different from the predetermined cryptogram intensity when the application detector detects that the predetermined application program is being executed.
