PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element having an incident plane and a diffraction plane formed thereon, which allows different films to be formed on the planes without masking one of the plane. SOLUTION: The optical element 31 has a substrate 33, a first resin part 32 prepared in one of planes of the substrate 33, and a second resin part 34 prepared in the other side. The first resin part 32 has an incidence plane 32 on which light from a light source is made incident to the inside. The second resin part 34 has a diffraction plane 34a on which the light is diffracted and is converged on an incident end plane of an optical waveguide 36 of a slider 35.
