PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent oil from spouting to the outside of a transmission regardless of inclination of an oil surface due to a traveling state of a vehicle, in a breather device of the vehicular transmission. SOLUTION: The breather device of the vehicular transmission is formed with a breather chamber partitioned by a partition wall at an inner upper part of a transmission case which stores oil at its bottom part, a suction port to which air expanding inside the transmission case flows on a bottom face wall of the breather chamber, and an exhaust port for exhausting the air which has flowed to the breather chamber to the outside of the transmission case on an upper face wall of the breather chamber. In the breather device, the transmission case is mounted with a first movable plate for closing a part of the suction port by moving to the vehicle longitudinal direction and a second movable plate for closing a part of the suction port by moving to the vehicle width direction. The first movable plate and the second movable plate are moved by centrifugal force generated when the vehicle inclines or turns in order to close a part of the suction port near the surface of the oil.
