PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain size reduction and simplification of a shelf mechanism and a storage shelf 1. SOLUTION: The shelf mechanism 5 includes: a shelf member 3 on which a storage object 2 is loaded; a shelf support mechanism 6C supporting the shelf member 3 to advance and retreat freely; an advance/retreat mechanism 7 having a pantograph structure that is stretchable by mutually jointing the center part 71a of a parallel link 71 with the end 71b to rotate freely, of which one end is jointed to the shelf member 3 as a free end, and the other end is fixed only in the advance/retreat direction; and a driving mechanism 8 stretching/contracting the advance/retreat mechanism 7 by applying driving force to the advance/retreat mechanism 7.
