PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic container or the like consisting of a container body and a cap with an applicator brush capable of reaching a liquid in the container body even when the liquid runs low. SOLUTION: The container designed for a cosmetic material, liquid glue, adhesive or paint comprises a container body, a cap having an applicator brush, and an extension/contraction mechanism which can change the vertical position of the applicator brush.
