The invention relates to a novel metal roll, composed of a main body (1) and a jacket (2), which are rigidly connected to each other, wherein the main body (1) and the jacket (2) are made of a metal and wherein the elastic jacket (2) is integrally formed and has multiple walls in some regions. The invention further relates to devices in which rolls according to the invention are installed, and to methods using apparatuses with integrated rolls which are designed according to the teaching of the invention. |
