The assembly (A) has a driver circuit (5) and a controller (6) arranged on an upper side of a passive heat sink i.e. cooling plate (4), and electrically connected on a lower side of the heat sink. The cooling plate is made of thermally good conducting metal material. Two conductor plates (1, 2) are thermally and mechanically connected with the heat sink by an electrically isolating adhesive foil or rivets and screws, and the driver circuit and the controller are integrated on the one of the conductor plates. A bore hole or a notch is formed on the one of the conductor plates. An independent claim is also included for a power converter device including a housing and a water cooler. |
