PURPOSE: A vane pump is provided to improve durability by preventing remarkably increased pressure from being applied to a cam ring. CONSTITUTION: A vane pump comprises a rotor(3), multiple space securing grooves(5), and a cam ring(7). Multiple vanes(1) are formed in the rotor. Saw-teeth are repetitively protruded from the outer edge of the rotor by the space securing grooves. The space securing grooves are formed on the outer surface of the rotor between the vanes. The cam ring secures spaces between the vanes and the cam ring and prevents partial pressure from being increased.
