PURPOSE: Power generating and advertising devices using sunlight are provided to reduce effectively an installation space by integrating a solar battery into a light source of an advertising plate. CONSTITUTION: A power generating device using sunlight comprises a solar battery plate(1), thermoelement(3), a heat radiating unit(6), and a electricity storage unit. The solar battery plate converts sunlight energy to electrical energy to generate electricity. One side of the thermoelement is attached to the rear of the solar battery plate and converts waste heat generating from the solar battery plate by seebeck effect to electrical energy. The heat radiating unit is attached to the other side of the thermoelement and radiates heat from the thermoelement. The electricity storage unit stores electricity, which has been generated from the solar battery plate and the thermoelement.
