PURPOSE: A composition for photodynamic therapy or diagnosis containing photosensitizer-metallic nanoparticle complex is provided to suppress reactive oxygen species. CONSTITUTION: A photosensitizer-metallic nanoparticle complex contains a photosensitizer, metallic nanoparticles, and back bone which connects the photosensitizer and metallic nanoparticles and has a polypeptide substrate.
