摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for controlling a power converter for vehicles that short-circuits a negative electrode side arm when a B terminal voltage is excessive, prevents the B terminal voltage from becoming excessive after releasing the short circuit even if B terminal detachment continues, and supplies power stably, in the device for controlling the power converter for vehicles for conversion between DC power and AC power. <P>SOLUTION: The control device 210 detects the B terminal voltage by a B terminal voltage detection means 301. It also turns on all the switching elements of the negative electrode side arm inside a power conversion unit 220 by a negative electrode side arm short-circuiting means 306, turns off all the switching elements of a positive electrode side arm, and restricts a field current to zero or a limiting value by a field current control means 307, when an abnormal voltage detection means 305 detects that a voltage value of the detected B terminal voltage is not less than a prescribed voltage value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
