PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a doorphone slave device of an intercom, which does not make light from LED even incident even in using a wide-angle camera cover, and appropriately illuminates visitors. SOLUTION: The interphone system is composed of: the doorphone slave device which is operated by a visitor to call a resident; and a room master device which notifies calling from the doorphone slave device and allows called resident to communicate with the visitor. The doorphone slave device has: a camera part which has a camera to photograph visitors and a camera cover to protect the camera; and an illumination part which has an LED to illuminate visitors if illumination is low surrounding the doorphone slave device and an LED bracket near the camera part. The doorphone slave device also has an accommodation part which has a four-sided wall so that the front side of the LED bracket is attached to a position lower than the top of the case of the doorphone slave device.
