PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microporous film capable of obtaining preferable results both in a battery over charge test and an oven test. SOLUTION: In the microporous film, the film-breaking temperature is ≥200°C and <400°C, the thermal shrinkage at 140°C in the TD direction is ≥0% and <5%, and the thermal shrinkage at 140°C in the MD direction is ≥0% and <20%.
