PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation device for enabling a user to perform a plurality of types of operations by a single dial, and for achieving good appearance. SOLUTION: A spur gear (driving gear) 16 is engaged with an internal gear 20 or 21 according to the pulling-out or pushing-in operation of a dial 7. Also, a first switch 28 or a second switch 29 is turned on, and a blue light emission diode 26 or a green light emission diode 27 is turned on, and the rays of light are transmitted through the transmission part of a display member 33. Thus, it is possible to clarify the classification of the operation object. In this case, when a dial 7 is rotated, the rotation is transmitted to a first pulley 18 or a second pulley 19 to operate the operation object.
