摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot hand and a chuck coping with holding of various kinds of workpieces with a relatively simple and lightweight structure. SOLUTION: The chuck is composed of a chuck holder 1, an operation rod 2 and a chuck claw 3, wherein the chuck holder 1 is equipped with: a notch 7 for rockably storing the chuck claw 3 for satisfying the holding opening function of the work; and a rocking fulcrum for supporting a base part 3b back face of the chuck claw 3. The operation rod 2 includes a pressurizing part 8 projecting to the side in its tip part, and is inserted into a hollow part of the chuck holder 1 so as to advance and retreat. A base part 3b of a plurality of chuck claws 3 is sandwiched at a rocking fulcrum between the pressurizing part 8 of the operation rod and the chuck holder 1. A cam part 9 is provided, on an inner surface of the base part 3b of the respective chuck claws 3, which converts an advance-retreat quantity of the pressurizing part 8 caused by an advance-retreat of the operation rod 2 into a rocking quantity in the centrifugal and centripetal direction of the respective chuck claws 3.
