PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart water feeling, the achievement of which has been difficult conventionally to a hard candy. SOLUTION: The feeling to be felt as if water is present in the hard candy is provided by combining a center part containing 10-60 wt.% of an oil and fat having≤50% of a solid fat content at 30°C, and 40-90 wt.% of erythritol and/or xylitol, and having a particle diameter distribution having two kinds of peaks in one of which the particle diameters are≤100μm and the average particle diameter is≤50μm, and in the other of which the particle diameters are≥100μm and the average particle diameter is 100-800μm, with a hard candy part having a water content of≤5 wt.%.
