PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclone type oil separator which efficiently catches and removes in a gas lead-out pipe a small particle size oil mist which can not be removed by centrifugal separation in a case. SOLUTION: A gas introduction pipe 16 is connected on the tangent of the case to the peripheral wall of the cylindrical case 11, and also the gas lead-out pipe 17 is provided on an axis inside the case 11. In the case 11, the oil mist is centrifugally separated from gas introduced from the gas introduction pipe 16. An opening 17a at the lower end of the gas led-out pipe 17 is provided with a filter 18 for catching the oil mist in gas not removed by the centrifugal separation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
