A REFRIGERATOR AND AN ICE BANK

PURPOSE: A refrigerator and an icebank are provided to prevent interference between joint units even if the rotary shaft of the icebank is backward rotated. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator comprises an icebank(200), an ice discharging member, a motor unit, and joint units. The icebank stores ice generated from an ice maker. The ice discharging member is rotatably installed inside the icebank. The motor unit is selectively connected to the ice discharging member and rotates the ice discharging member. The joint units are installed between the end of the rotary shaft of the ice discharging member and the drive shaft of the motor unit and transfer the driving force from the drive shaft to the rotary shaft of the ice discharging member. When the driving force from the drive shaft is not transferred to the rotary shaft of the ice discharging member, the joint units allow the driving force to be transferred to the rotary shaft.
