<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane electrode assembly which hardly deforms a gas diffusion layer and is excellent on strength and is formed from a gas diffusion layer being excellent on water-drainage nature, water retention, gas permeability, and diffusivity without increasing electric resistance, a gas diffusion layer with a micro porous layer for manufacturing the membrane electrode assembly, a catalyst layer with a micro porous layer, and a gas diffusion electrode with a catalyst layer. <P>SOLUTION: In the gas diffusion layer with a micro porous layer for a fuel cell, the micro porous layer is formed on one surface of a gas diffusion bas material, the micro porous layer includes conductive carbon particles, metal fibers, and a fluorocarbon resin, and an aspect ratio of the metal fiber is ≤30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
