<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal compressor efficiently cleaning the whole flow passage over a wide range by extending a range where cleaning is performed by one cleaning liquid injection device. <P>SOLUTION: This centrifugal compressor includes: a casing 5; a rotating shaft supported in the casing 5; impellers 3 provided around the rotating shaft and rotating to compress fluid; and nozzles 31 injecting cleaning liquid W to the flow passage formed by the impellers 3 and casing 5. Each of the nozzles 31 is provided radially outward of a diffuser 12 toward the radial inward of the diffuser 12 in the flow passage, and is so provided that at least one injection direction P of the cleaning liquid W is directed to the same direction as the rotating direction Q of the impeller 3 and also intersects at a substantially right angle with a fluid flowing direction in the right-angled cross section of the rotating shaft in the position of the impeller 3 opposed to the nozzle 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
