<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator material of a fuel cell capable of firmly and uniformly forming a surface layer including Au on a Ti base material and securing corrosion resistance, conductivity, and durability required for a separator of the fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: In the separator material of the fuel cell, the surface layer 6 including Au and a first component made from at least one kind or more of metals selected from a group of Al, Cr, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Mo, Sn, and Bi is formed on the surface of the Ti base material 2, the content of the first component on the surface layer is (specific gravity (g/cm<SP>3</SP>) of first component)×0.001 to (specific gravity (g/cm<SP>3</SP>) of first component)×0.01 (μg/mm<SP>2</SP>), the content of Au is 0.070 (μg/mm<SP>2</SP>) or more, and the content of the first component at a metal state is 25 mass% or below at any depth on the surface layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
