<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve performance of a rotary compressor by improving efficiency of an electric element. <P>SOLUTION: The rotary compressor 10 comprises the electric element 14 in a sealed container 12, and a rotary compression element 32 driven by a rotary shaft 16 of the electric element 14. It includes a stator 22 composing the electric element 14, a rotor 24 attached to the rotary shaft 16 and rotating in the stator 22, a cylinder 38 composing the rotary compression element 32, an upper part support member 54 and a lower part support member 56 including bearings for the rotary shaft 16 and blocking an opening of the cylinder 38, and a discharge valve 66 formed in the upper part support member 54 and opening and closing a discharge port communicated with a compression chamber in the cylinder 38. A position wherein static torque of the electric element 14 becomes maximum is shifted in a rotating direction of the electric element 14 from a position right before the discharge valve 66 opens. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
