PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a system to be operated continuously by detecting a fault and preventing the output of incorrect data. SOLUTION: A computer system 1 provided with a plurality of computers 101 to 104 for executing the same processing in parallel and a plurality of collating units 111 to 114 for collating processing results from the computers. The computer includes transmission/reception functions 203 and 205 for transmitting own operating conditions via a multiplexed network 10 and receiving operating conditions of another computer via the multiplexed network 10 and a first fault detection function 221 for detecting a fault of another computer; the collating unit includes transmission/reception functions 303, 305, 333, and 335 for transmitting own operating conditions via the multiplexed network 10 and receiving operating conditions of another collating unit via the multiplexed network 10, second fault detection functions 321 and 351 for detecting a fault of the computer; and third fault detection functions 321 and 351 for detecting fault of another collating unit.
