PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool fixing gripper for preventing deformation, and wear and tear of a tool holder, and also preventing deformation and damage of a gripper body member, by reducing stress applied to the tool holder. SOLUTION: The tool fixing gripper comprises: the gripper body member 10 having a storage part 11 for storing the tool holder 2; and a gripping member 30 arranged inside the storage part 11 and gripping the tool holder 2. The tool fixing gripper has: the storage part 11 is formed so that its inside surface 12 becomes a noncontact shape by opening a predetermined clearance with an outer peripheral surface 3 of the tool holder 2; and the gripping member 30 is constituted of an elastic member, and presents a shape along the inside surface 12 of the storage part 11. The tool fixing gripper is formed so that its inside end surface 31 is positioned inside the outer peripheral surface 3 of the tool holder 2 in a storage position, and when storing the tool holder 2 in the storage part 11, the gripping member 30 also becomes a compressed state by being pressed by the tool holder 2, and grips the tool holder 2 by its elastic restoring force.
