PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change timing for activating an alarm according to quality of a view at an intersection with a poor view. SOLUTION: A means arranged in front of a vehicle from a position of a driver detects an object around the vehicle. When a moving object approaching near the vehicle, among the detected objects, is determined to have a possibility of collision with the vehicle, a travel safety device for notifying a driver of the vehicle is provided. An angle with which the driver of the vehicle can view a direction of the detected moving object is calculated as a first view angle. Two timing of notification to the driver is changed based on the first view angle. The timing of notification can be changed based on an angle with which the driver can view, so that the timing of notification can be made earlier as the view is poorer.
