PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive plain bearing accurately supporting a mating member. SOLUTION: This invention relates to a plain bearing provided with a bearing surface A rotatably supporting a movable arm 2 as a mating member. The plain bearing 4 includes a sintered metal sleeve part 5 and the bearing surface A, and a resin layer 5 coating a surface of the sleeve part 5. The plain bearing 4 is composed in such a manner that the bearing surface A can support a shaft part 2a outer circumference surface of the movable arm 2 opposing to the same in an interference fit state.
