PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder for antifreezing which is a powder which is coated by a coating material having a heat storage effect containing hollow particles, and a heat shield effect, can be used sprinkling for a large space such as a road, promenade, park, and yard, and can maintain an effect in which freezing or frost damage can be inhibited over a long period of time by a simple method, and to provide an antifreezing construction method using this powder. SOLUTION: The powder for antifreezing is characterized by comprising coating a granule-like adherend surface by a heat storage heat-insulating coating material containing hollow particles.
