PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently determine whether a material to be measured has desired values with high degree of precision in dimensions inspection using a CCD camera. SOLUTION: The dimensions inspection system includes: a cutting information input apparatus for inputting cutting information for cutting a steel plate; a cutting apparatus for cutting the steel plate in accordance with the cutting information to make the material to be measured; and a dimensions inspection apparatus including a mounting surface for mounting the material to be measured, the CCD camera for recognizing an end position of the material to be measured on the mounting surface, a measuring means for obtaining the measurement information of the dimensions of the material to be measured from the end position, a comparison means for comparing the measurement information with the cutting information, and a display means for displaying a comparison result by the comparison means.
