PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phakic intraocular lens and a phakic intraocular lens insertion instrument, for lightening burden on a patient and efficiently placing an intraocular lens on the iris. SOLUTION: The phakic intraocular lens of an iris hold type to be inserted in the eye by using the phakic intraocular lens insertion instrument having a plunger has: an optical portion which has a prescribed bending force and is foldable; and a support portion which is formed by a pair of arm portions of almost L shape which is bent in the way that tips as free ends face each other, fixes and holds the optical portion by putting the iris between pairs of the arm ends, and has an opening portion formed by inner peripheries of the pair of arm parts.
