The invention relates to a device for cleaning and conditioning hooves or claws of farm animals. According to the invention, in order to create a device for ensuring sufficient hygiene and cleanliness of hooves or claws of farm animals that enables reliable illness prevention even for large herds and at the same time can be operated with little effort, a is provided, above which a catwalk is arranged, on which the farm animals can cross the tube, wherein nozzles for spraying the hooves or claws with cleaning solution are arranged in the area of the catwalk, and that at least one further nozzle that can be fed with fresh conditioning solution from a separate tank be provided at the end of the catwalk. The invention is based on the insight that force-through claw baths promote disease transmission within a herd unless the bath is changed very frequently, which is hardly possible in practice, however. Furthermore, it has been shown as part of the invention that it is sensible to perform the steps of cleaning and conditioning the hooves and claws in succession. |
