It is possible to produce soft polyurethane foam which has a high soft polyurethane foam biomass degree while also having a high rebound resilience modulus, and therefore good cushioning properties, but no cell roughness in the skin portion, using a polyol-containing mixture having a low viscosity even when a high-molecular-weight polyoxyalkylene polyol is employed. A method for producing the soft polyurethane foam uses an epoxidized natural oil (X), which is obtained by using an oxidizer to epoxidize a natural oil having unsaturated bonds, and a polyol (A) including: a polyoxyalkylene polyol having a hydroxyl group value of 5 to 30 mg KOH/g (polyol (A1)), which is obtained by subjecting a propylene oxide (b1) to ring-opening addition polymerization with an initiator, in the presence of a composite metal cyanide complex catalyst (a1) having organic ligands, and then subjecting an ethylene oxide (b2) to ring-opening addition polymerization in the presence of an alkali metal catalyst (a2); and a natural oil-derived polyol (A2).
