<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal member which can exhibit sealing performance equivalent to a conventional one using an adhesive by securing adhesion between an insert member and a rubber part without using the adhesive. <P>SOLUTION: A seal member 1A is made by integrally molding the insert member 10A and a rubber part 20A including the insert member, and makes a part of the rubber part 20A function as seal lips 21, 22. In the insert member 10A, an annular engaging groove 16 is provided as an annular recess for engaging with the part of the rubber part 20A during integrally molding. The annular recess 16 has depth inclined non-orthogonally to a surface of the insert member where the recess opens. The adhesion between the insert member 10A and the rubber part 20A can be improved by an anchor effect based on engagement between the annular engaging groove 16 of the insert member and the part of the rubber part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
