<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus and a management method thereof for recording the information about printing as a printing history upon execution of a print job received by the printing apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In accordance with a recording program for recording the information about printing, a print command used in the print job is redefined so as to record the information about the printing, and managed.
