<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection head with an ejection port face where fouling of the ejection port face is easily removed, even when the ejection port face is likely to be dried, and that has superior ejection performance. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid ejection head includes a member having an ejection port for ejecting liquid. A surface of the member where the ejection port is open, is formed by a curing reaction of a siloxane compound having a hydrophobic first group with a fluorine atom and a second group having at least one selected from the group consisting of a hydroxy group, a carboxy group, a carbonyl group, and a polyether structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
