PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light irradiation device which allows imaging from a head-on position of an object and lighting from the head-on position of the object. SOLUTION: The light irradiation device 2 for irradiating light of a light source to the object includes a reflector 44 which reflects the light of the light source made into parallel lights toward the object. The reflector 44 includes an imaging opening 50 at a position intersecting with an optical axis L of the parallel light traveling to the object to allow imaging of the object from a position across the reflector 44.
