PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rust prevention primer for an aluminum member that has excellent transparency and adhesiveness to an aluminum member, prevents generation of rust, especially filiform corrosion even in an environment with intense corrosion, and also does not degrade designability even when coated on the aluminum member utilizing metallic luster of aluminum, and an aluminum member to which the primer is applied. SOLUTION: There are provided the rust prevention primer for an aluminum member containing (A) 5-30 mass% (solid content) of a polyolefin resin, (B) 0.01-20 mass% of an additive, (C) 49-95 mass% of a solvent, and (D) 0.01-5 mass% of a rust prevention agent soluble in the solvent, and the aluminum member applied with the rust prevention primer for an aluminum member.
