PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary compressor which reduces the weight of a roller which is semiautomatically decided by a removing capacity to greatly improve its operation efficiency. SOLUTION: A rotary compressor (a rotary compressor 10) stores a driving element (an electric element 14) and rotary compressing elements(first and second rotary compressing elements 32, 34) driven by a rotating shaft 16 of the driving element (the electric element 14) in a sealed container 12. The rotary compressing elements are composed of cylinders (first and second cylinders 38, 40), rollers (first and second rollers 46, 48) fitted to eccentric portions (upper and lower eccentric portions 42, 44) formed on the rotating shaft 16 and eccentrically rotating in the cylinders, and vanes (first and second vanes 50, 52) abutting on the roller and dividing the inside of the cylinder into a low pressure chamber side and a high pressure chamber side.
