PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction port body and a vacuum cleaner which has a rotation cleaning body unable to be touched easily, improves safety and can efficiently clean dust in the corners of the structure such as the wall. SOLUTION: A suction port body 26 includes a suction port body 31 which has a bottom face suction port 47 which opens out through the bottom face and a front side suction port 39 which opens to be continuous to the bottom face suction port 47, a detection part 53 which detects approach of a detection object W to the suction port body 31, a rotation cleaning body axis support 54 which can be freely reciprocated in the perspective direction around the front side suction port 39, and a rotation cleaning body 46 which is supported by the rotation cleaning body axis support 54 and is moved in the direction approaching the front side suction port 39 when the approach of the detection object W is detected by the detection part 53.
