A method and an apparatus for analyzing location are provided in the present invention. Several locations, which are different from zero-crossing points in number, can be analyzed according to the analysis about the sensing information of at least one zero-crossing point. When the analyzed number of locations is different from the number of the zero-crossing points, the analyzed number of locations indicates several locations exist.
