The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an improved rubber wedge which is convenient to use for fixing a deflection yoke in the manufacture a Braun tube type monitor. The present invention selects a soft PVC and extrudes the PVC in an elongated shape in which rubber wedges are sequentially formed in a lateral direction using profile extrusion; cuts the extruded material (10) into a required predetermined length; attaches a double-sided tape (1) to the rear surface of the cut material (20); and cuts the double-sided tape (1) attached to the cut material (20) in half to obtain material (30) such that the cut material (20) and the double-sided tape (1), excluding a release sheet (1'), are cut into a uniform size.
