<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a color filter by which, upon forming a transparent ink layer in each pixel, a variation of a film thickness of each color is decreased, and dissolution between a color ink and the transparent ink is prevented, and the number of manufacturing processes is decreased. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the color filter includes steps of: ejecting droplets of a plurality of color inks having different spectral characteristics from one another by an inkjet method to the inside of an opening each enclosed by a light-shielding barrier wall formed on a substrate; drying solvents of the plurality of color inks deposited on the inside of the opening; ejecting droplets of a transparent ink by an inkjet method on at least one color ink in the plurality of color inks deposited on the inside of opening in accordance with the film thickness of the color ink; drying the solvent of the deposited transparent ink; and simultaneously polymerizing the plurality of color inks deposited on the inside of the opening and a monomer of the transparent ink which is deposited thereon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
