PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus capable of manufacturing a high quality printed material with favorable reproducibility and stability.

SOLUTION: The inkjet recording apparatus includes: a coloring ink container (5) with a volume V1 for storing a solvent which polymerizes at the presence of an acid and a coloring ink having a color constituent dispersed in the solvent; a reaction liquid container (3) with a volume V2 smaller than the volume V1 for containing a reaction liquid prepared by adding a photo acid generating agent for generating an acid by light radiation to a solvent; a stirrer container (2) for preparing a recording ink by mixing the coloring ink and the reaction liquid; a coloring ink supply pump (6) for supplying the coloring ink from the coloring ink container to the stirrer container; a reaction liquid supply pump (4) for supplying the reaction liquid from the reaction liquid container to the stirrer container; an inkjet recording head (20) for discharging the recording ink to a recoding medium; and a supply pipe for supplying the recording ink in the stirrer container to the inkjet recording head.
