PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide capacity control capable of saving energy in a refrigerating system cooling a refrigerant made to flow out from a radiator in a refrigerant circuit performing a steam compression type refrigerating cycle by an auxiliary refrigerating device performing an absorption type refrigerating cycle. SOLUTION: A controller 80 can execute low capacity control operation for stopping the auxiliary refrigerating device 12 and operating a compression mechanism 14 at minimum capacity, intermediate capacity control operation for operating the compression mechanism 14 at minimum capacity and controlling cooling capacity of the auxiliary refrigerating device 12 and high capacity control operation for setting cooling capacity of the auxiliary refrigerating device 12 at a maximum value and controlling operating capacity of the compression mechanism 14. In accordance with cooling capacity required for a use side heat exchanger 16 during cooling operation, the controller 80 executes capacity control operation selected from the low capacity control operation, intermediate capacity control operation and high capacity control operation.
