<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equipment control device for controlling a control object by highly precisely estimating the movement of teeth on the basis of a brain wave induced by the contact of the teeth obtained by non-invasion from the head of a user without any special training. <P>SOLUTION: The equipment control device is configured to estimate the movement of the teeth of a user from the brain waves of a plurality of channels induced by the movement of the teeth of the user obtained at a plurality of places on the head skin of the user, and to generate a command to control the object equipment according to the result of estimation, and provided with: a band pass filter for extracting the components of a prescribed frequency band from each of the brain waves of the plurality of channels; a featured value calculation part 152 for calculating the pattern of a predetermined featured values from the components of the frequency band of the brain waves; a learned pattern classifier 154 for, when the pattern of the featured value is given from the featured value calculation part 152, obtaining output showing the movement of the teeth of the user according to the featured value; and a command output part 156 for generating a command in response to the output of the pattern classifier 154, and for giving the command to the object equipment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
